GEN2 Pro Mod turbochargers. With a dedicated commitment to innovation, PTE’s GEN2 Pro Mod turbochargers were designed with the hardcore enthusiast in mind and are available in the standard 88mm, 91mm, 94mm and 98mm sizes.
Featuring Precision’s exclusive Competition Engineered Aerodynamics (CEA®) on both the compressor and turbine sides, the new GEN2 turbos offer unparalleled performance, greater efficiency, less turbo lag, can handle higher boost and offer massive power gains over older wheel designs of similar sizes.
PTE’s GEN2 Pro Mod turbochargers also feature air‐cooled, dual ceramic ball bearing Center Housing Rotating Assemblies (CHRAs) for faster transient response and added thrust capacity. Purpose‐built for improved strength, durability and longevity, the center housing and compressor backplate assembly is an innovative one‐piece design, manufactured from an aluminum forging.
Additionally, these units come equipped with stainless steel V‐band inlet and outlet turbine housings complete with an extended turbine discharge with cross‐bolt provisions for added safety.
Safety was also a key consideration when developing the new designs, and therefore all of Precision’s GEN2 Pro Mod turbos will be shipped as SFI‐approved units.
